Fear Only Him

Do you fear the LORD?  Do you just recognize that He exists, or do you live to serve him?  The secrets of the LORD are not shared with everyone because everyone would not understand or even begin to comprehend what is being told to them.  His covenant is only shared with those that fear him.

Do not be confused by the word fear.  It is true, the Lord does not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.  The fear that we are taking a look at is a reverence for staying in the Lord's Will.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

Psalm 25:14-15
