Devotional: Jesus Died for Me
Jesus Died for Me
📖 “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us...” — 1 John 3:16 (NKJV)
Hey love,
Sometimes we forget how personal the cross really is.
We hear “Jesus died for the world,” but miss the part where He was thinking of you.
Yes, you—the one who feels overlooked.
The one who’s been carrying silent battles.
The one who’s wondering if they matter.
You matter so much that Heaven made the ultimate move.
Jesus didn’t just die for humanity in general… He died for you specifically.
Your name was in His heart.
Your freedom was His focus.
Your healing, your peace, your restoration—it was all part of the price He paid.
This wasn’t a distant act of love. It was intimate. Intentional. Eternal.
He didn’t wait for you to get it all right.
He saw your flaws and still said, “They’re worth dying for.”
So today, let that truth settle deep in your soul.
You’re not just loved—you’re redeemed.
You’re not just forgiven—you’re chosen.
You’re not just seen—you’re valuable.

💬 Declaration:
Jesus, I thank You for dying for me.
I receive Your love, not because I earned it, but because You freely gave it.
I am forgiven. I am restored. I am Yours.
My life has purpose because You gave Yours for mine.
---
🙏 Prayer:
Lord, help me never to forget the personal nature of Your sacrifice.
When I feel unloved, remind me that You proved Your love on the cross.
Let my life be a living testimony of Your mercy and grace.
Thank You for dying for me—and rising so I could live.
