Know God for Yourself—Because Not Everyone Is Sent by Him

 

Hey friend,

Let me say something that may sound bold—but it’s said in love and with your spiritual safety in mind:

👉🏽 It is absolutely vital that you know the Lord for yourself.

We are living in a time where not everyone quoting Scripture is living by it… and not everyone laying hands is doing so by the Spirit of God.

Some are gifted—but not anointed. Some are popular—but not pure. Some sound prophetic—but they’re operating through familiar spirits, not the Holy Spirit.

I say this not to scare you, but to wake up the discerner in you. To stir that hunger for the real presence of God—the kind that can’t be mimicked or manipulated.

❤️ Real Talk as Your Coach:

You don’t need to chase a word from someone else when God is ready to speak directly to you.

You don’t need to get validation from someone with a platform when the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you.

Yes, God uses people. Yes, prophetic ministry is real. But if it doesn’t line up with His Word, His character, and His peace—it’s not from Him.

Familiar spirits imitate. They can copy sound… but not substance. They can echo churchy phrases… but not carry the weight of glory. And that’s why you’ve got to be anchored—not in emotion, not in excitement, but in relationship.

✨ Declarations of Discernment:

Repeat these out loud. Declare them over your spirit:

🙌🏽 I know the voice of my Father, and I will not follow a counterfeit.

🙌🏽 I walk in divine discernment—I am not deceived by gifts without godliness.

🙌🏽 I will not be led by hype, but by the Holy Spirit.

🙌🏽 Every familiar spirit posing as truth is exposed and cast down in Jesus' name.

🙌🏽 I hunger for the authentic presence of God—and He satisfies me daily.

🕊️ A Prayer for You:

Father,

Awaken our hearts.

Sharpen our discernment.

Expose what’s not of You—no matter how pretty it sounds or looks.

Fill us with the kind of hunger that can’t be quenched by counterfeit encounters.

Let us crave Your voice more than we crave affirmation.

Teach us to sit at Your feet, not just run to platforms.

We don’t want hype. We want You.

And we trust You to guide us into all truth.
