What Is Your Dream? Don’t Sit on It—Start Moving.
Hey love,
What is your dream?
That one thing God keeps nudging your heart about... the business idea, the degree you’ve been putting off, the creative gift you've buried under responsibility, the ministry you’ve been too scared to pursue?
Don’t give up just because it’s taking longer than expected.
Delay doesn’t mean denial. Sometimes what feels like a pause is really God giving you space to prepare.
Here’s the truth: your dream is still possible. But you’ve got to move.
Set your goals. Dream big—but also plan smart. If your goal is to start a business, don’t just sit on the idea. Start researching. Ask questions. Look for mentors. Find out what you need to do to get it off the ground.
Need new skills? Start developing them. Maybe that looks like going back to school, signing up for a course, watching YouTube tutorials, or taking free classes on LinkedIn. Growth doesn’t always require a lot of money—just commitment.
You don’t have to know everything before you begin.
But you do have to begin.
So if your goal is to go back to school—start by checking into the financing. Fill out the FAFSA. Look for scholarships. Save up with a side hustle if you have to. And if funds are tight, use your time to learn—there’s so much available for free online.
If your goal is to build a website, research platforms. Learn the basics of web design. Use what’s in your hands right now.
If your dream is to start a daycare, research your state’s requirements. Learn the legal side. Look into certifications. Know how many children you can legally care for. Begin laying the foundation.
Here’s what I don’t want you to do: don’t just sit still.
You may not see results overnight. It might take months. Even years. But if you keep showing up, it will add up. Step by step, decision by decision, you are building something beautiful.
And Romans 8:28 still stands true: “All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
So, what is your dream?
Whatever it is, give it your yes. And then give it your effort.
Let today be the day you stop waiting and start preparing.
You’ve got this.
