Lift Them Up Anyway

There will be moments in life when you don’t agree with people.

You may not agree with their choices, their words, or the way they carry themselves.

But disagreement should never cancel compassion.

As believers, we are not called to approve everything—we are called to love, intercede, and stand in the gap.

Sometimes the very people you feel frustrated with…

are the very people God is asking you to pray for.

📖 What Does Scripture Say?

The Word of God is clear:

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions… be made for all men.” — 1 Timothy 2:1 (KJV)

Not just the ones you like.

Not just the ones who agree with you.

All men.

And even more challenging:

“Love your enemies, bless them that curse you… and pray for them which despitefully use you.” — Matthew 5:44 (KJV)

That’s not easy.

That requires maturity.

That requires the heart of God.

💭 When You Don’t Understand Their Actions

You may see someone walking in rebellion…

making decisions that don’t align with God…

But here’s what you have to remember:

God is still working.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…” — Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Even in places where it looks messy…

Even when it looks like they’re going the wrong way…

God has a way of stepping in, turning things around, and getting the glory out of it.

🔥 God Will Get the Glory

There are testimonies being formed right now

in the middle of someone’s mess.

There are breakthroughs being prepared

in the middle of someone’s rebellion.

God is not limited by people’s mistakes.

He is not intimidated by their disobedience.

He is sovereign.

“Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee…” — Psalm 76:10 (KJV)

Even what looks like opposition…

even what looks like failure…

God can use it.

❤️ Your Role: Pray and Help

Instead of judging—pray.

Instead of withdrawing—intercede.

Instead of criticizing—care.

Because you never know:

Your prayer could be the very thing

that shifts their life.

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” — James 5:16 (KJV)

🙌 Declaration

I choose to walk in love and not judgment.

I will lift others up in prayer, even when I don’t understand them.

I trust that God is working in every situation, and He will get the glory.

My heart is aligned with God’s heart for people.

🙏 Prayer

Father,

Help me to see people the way You see them.

Give me compassion where I’ve had frustration.

Teach me to pray instead of judge, and to love instead of withdraw.

Even when I don’t understand what others are doing,

help me trust that You are still at work.

Use my prayers to bring breakthrough, healing, and transformation.

And in every situation, Lord—get the glory.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
