Title: The Gift of a Godly Mother

Scripture: “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” – Proverbs 31:28 (KJV)

Devotional Message:

Motherhood is a divine calling, a sacred assignment from God. From the moment of conception to every sleepless night, from every whispered prayer to each word of wisdom spoken in love, mothers are a reflection of God’s nurturing heart. On this special day, we honor the spiritual strength, wisdom, and unshakable love of mothers who walk in faith and raise the next generation for the Lord.

In the Bible, we find many examples of godly mothers—Hannah, who dedicated Samuel to the Lord before he was even born; Jochebed, who risked everything to save her son Moses; and Mary, who bore the Savior of the world. These women were not perfect, but they were faithful. Their love and obedience to God left a legacy that shaped nations and fulfilled prophecy.

Today, we thank God for the mothers who labor in love, who pray even when no one sees, and who stand as intercessors for their children and families. Your value is far above rubies. You are blessed, and your works praise you.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the precious gift of mothers. Bless every mother today with strength, peace, and joy. Heal those who are grieving or feeling forgotten. Empower mothers to walk in faith and leave a legacy of righteousness. Let their children rise up and call them blessed. May every godly mother know her worth in Your eyes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
