It Is Time to Come Out of Bondage

Child of God… It Is Time to Come Out of Bondage

A Devotional from A Designed Transformation

Scripture: “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36

Child of God… hear this with your whole heart: bondage is not your home.

The place where you’ve been stuck, the season that has held you, the habits that have tried to define you—none of these have the authority to keep you bound when God has already declared you free.

Some of the bondage you’re battling isn’t physical… it’s internal.

It’s the grip of fear.
The weight of shame.
The cycle of doubt.
The voice of “not enough.”
The memory of what hurt you.

But God is stepping right into that place and declaring:
“It’s time to come out.”

You don’t have to stay where pain placed you.
You don’t have to repeat the behaviors you learned in survival mode.
You don’t have to shrink because somebody didn’t see your value.
You don’t have to bow to what you’ve outgrown.

When God calls you out, He equips you to walk out.

Freedom rarely begins with a feeling—
it begins with a decision.

A decision to believe that more is possible.
A decision to trust that healing is real.
A decision to get up from the place life tried to bury you.

Somebody needs to declare today:
“I’m coming out. I am not staying here.”

This is your exodus.
Your breaking free.
Your shift.
Your moment to step into identity, purpose, and wholeness.

You’ve cried enough.
You’ve questioned enough.
You’ve carried enough.

Now… walk out.

God is leading you to the place where bondage breaks, cycles stop, and freedom begins.

Declaration

I declare that I am coming out of everything that has held me.
I am not staying in bondage.
Who the Son sets free is free indeed, and I walk in that freedom today.

Reflection Question

What “bondage” is God prompting you to step out of today—and what is one step you can take to walk toward freedom?
