The Good Fight

Sometimes we know things in our hearts, but our minds need to catch up.  It is one thing to know of something,  but it is another to know for yourself.  Learn how to fight the good fight.

Declarations:
I declare that the Lord is my rock.
I declare that the Lord is my fortress and my deliverer.
I declare that I take refuge in the Lord.
I declare that the Lord is my shield and my stronghold.

Scripture:
Psalms 3
3 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.

6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Motivational Moment:
The saying goes:  Trouble don't last always.  The Lord fights our battles for us.  Even when things look hopeless and you are ready to throw in the towel, don't give up.  You are equipped to win this fight.

We have an enemy.  Whether we recognize him or not.  Your neighbor is not your enemy.  The real fight is in the spirit realm.  We wrestle not with flesh and blood.

During the times of David,  there was a physical fight.  We can relate to David because we fight the same battles that he fought.   We can use his experiences and study the relationship that he had with the Lord.  He relied on guidance from the Lord to move victoriously.

We too need to lean and depend on God to not only fight, but win this battle.   Fight the good fight of faith daily, knowing that the devil is already defeated.  Regardless of what your fight might be today, whether sickness,  pain, lack, poverty, jealousy, or anything else, know that nothing is too hard for God.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father thank you. You have done so many things for us.  You have blessed us time and time again.  You kept us on your mind. I bind every hindering spirit and I loose breakthrough in the mind, body and spirit in Jesus Name.  Thank you  Lord.  I thank you for fighting our battles for us In Jesus Name I pray, Amen
