Fight On

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:4)

The good fight of faith is essential in this battle if we plan to come out of it victoriously.  We do not fight against flesh and blood.  The warfare may become very intense, but know that you have the victory with the Lord Jesus Christ.  When we attempt to fight our own battles, we become worn down and tired very fast.  The enemy knows when you are a one man or one woman show.  He knows that he will get stronger and you will get weaker and eventually give in to his devices.

Thank God for our help.  When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He steps in and picks up where we left off.  He fights our battles for us.  As in the long war between the house of Saul and the house of David.

2 Samuel 3:1-3

Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

It is my prayer that you will accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior if you have not done so also.  The promises of the bible are for believers.  That lesson was obvious with the sons of Sceva.  Acts 19:1-16 tells us that we need a relationship with the Lord before we can use his Holy Name.

Acts 19:1-16

Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.  And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.  And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?  And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

You do not have to continue in the state that you are in.  Jesus died on the cross for your sins.  There is nothing in this world that would make Jesus turn his back on you.  He loves you.  God gave his only begotten Son so that you might be saved from a burning hell.

According to the bible, Romans 10:9-10 KJV  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

You can turn your situation around.  Put your trust in the Lord.  All you have to do is say this simple prayer out loud with me.

Prayer of Salvation (Sinner's Prayer)

Lord Jesus,  thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive me.  Come into my heart.  I need you Lord.  I believe God raised You from the dead.  I receive You as my Lord and Savior.  Thank you for saving me.  Help me to live for you.  In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

If you prayed the Prayer of Salvation, then you are saved.  I thank God for you.  Welcome to the body of Christ.  I would love to hear from you.  Be sure to connect with a bible-believing church to continue to grow your faith.
