Random Act of Kindness

Gifts are not to be taken lightly.  The dictionary tells us that a gift is a thing given willingly to someone without payment; a present.  This morning, my daughter thought about me and brought breakfast.  She did not bring this present or gift to anybody else.   Only me.  This is something that she did not have to do.  She had me on her mind.  She gave me something out of the kindness of her heart.  It was a gift.  In the same way, the Spirit gives us gifts from his heart out of love for us.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the little things that you do for us.  You continually show your love for us.  Help us to show the same love for others.  Amen
