How to Live A Purposeful Life

Life is all about choices. Life is filled with decisions. We are constantly faced with situations, whether good or bad. That is just Life.

We can make a great decision, but it more than likely doesn't happen every time. Some decisions make us wonder what in the world did I do! We all have had that experience. Do not be too hard on yourself. That's life.

We should ask ourselves a serious question. With all of the rights and choices that we have, we should ask ourselves as Christians a logical question. Will that decision line up with the will of God? Will that choice that we are making lead us to God's purpose for our lives?

I would hate to spend a whole lifetime doing what I think is right only to find out that I was outside of the Will of God. Sometimes the thing that seems right to man is not right with God's plan for us.

It is impossible to know what is right if we do not have a spiritual connection with God. We connect with God from spirit to spirit. Without a spiritual connection to God, the wisdom that we have is mere foolishness.

Before making any decisions that would have a lifelong effect, ask God to lead you. If you ask, He will answer you. He is a loving father. Don't misunderstand. Just as most fathers punish their children, so does our Lord. He is just, as well as kind. He will withhold no good thing from you.

The Lord does not force anything on us. Your choice is just that. Your choice. He does not force your will to line up with His will. When you get to the point of wanting the same thing that the Lord wants, things will go a lot smoother for you because you will want what the Lord wants for you. This would require trusting God.

A prayer life is the mode of communication with God. Prayers will line up with the will of God when you are in His will. Prayer is the direct communication with Him. There is no situation that is too small or hard for God. A strong and consistent prayer life will strengthen you spiritually. As you go through life, you can be confident that the Lord's will be done because you are in His will.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for the great turnaround. Let your will be done. Not my will but let your will be done. Search me Lord and remove anything that is not like you. I give you Glory in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ Name. Amen
