Seasons Change Quickly
It is amazing how the seasons change so quickly. One day it is hot, the next day it may be chilly. Seasons change. We know that it will happen every year. Some prepare by changing our wardrobes around to compliment the season. I know that I have pulled the winter clothing out to prepare for the weather, put the summer clothing away, and guess what! The weather changed and I was not prepared.
Although the weather changes and people change, we know that one thing does not change. Our God is faithful. He does not change. We can count on his word coming to pass. We cannot pinpoint the when. Only he knows when it will happen, but we can count on it happening because he gave us his word. Just as seasons change without warning, so can our situation change. Things can change in an instant.
There are times when circumstances change so quickly and quietly, so to speak, that we may not even notice when it happened. We may realize that the thing that we had been praying for so long has happened. We know that it happened because the situation has changed suddenly. We know that it was not a result of anything that we could have done. God did it. All we can do is say thank you. I have heard testimony after testimony about people with life-changing stories that happened almost overnight.
Stay encouraged. Things can change in an instant. This is why we have to keep hoping. If we give our hope up, then we have nothing. Keep hoping. Keep praying. Keep believing that things will take a turn for the better. Negative thinking can creep into our minds. The enemy will slip negative thoughts into your head to hinder your faith. Do not let it happen. When you hear those negative thoughts, say something positive. Speak life into your situation. It is true. Life and death are in the power of your tongue.
The enemy will try to make you feel as if you do not have a voice. The opposite is true. You have a voice. In fact, you have a very powerful voice. It is more powerful than anything that the enemy can say about you. You have to know who you are in Christ. You must know that no weapon formed against you will prosper. When you are weak, the Lord will step in and give you strength. There is no room to feel sorry for yourself and ask why. Every person on earth deals with some type of situation. If you take the time to listen to some things that others deal with, you will quickly realize that your situation could have been worse. The Lord is faithful. He said that he would not leave you. It is up to you as to whether you believe God or believe what you see. If you can see the situation from a spiritual standpoint, you will know that it is not the end. We go through situations, but we do not need to stay there.
